Amen to that! I like all of the Doma warriors but Valon and Rapheal edge out Alister. Valon is super awsome with his armor cards and Rapheal is the same with his guardians. Dartz on the other hand is a panzy with an extremely broken deck. With the Seal of Orichalcos and his broken cards, he would be able to duel his way out of a paper bag. I could stretch it and, insult him more saying that even Tristan could probably beat him, but that would be one big stretch.

No, seriously; getting six monsters on a field is just sick, twisted, wrong... and cool! They'll probably never make the Sparrow Formation or Phoenix Formation cards, but I like the idea of a Harpy deck that can beat the best of them!

But the coolest DOMA minion, hands down: Raphael. The whole Eatos edge was so sharp! Who wouldn't want their favorite duel monster pop up, even when the duel disk isn't on? Besides, he'd rather lose the duel than lose his monsters in battle. Insane? Maybe. Inspirational? Heck yes.

Amelda is my favorite Doma Swordsman. I think just about everyone thought him a girl at first glance, including me. His deck is somewhat unbalanced though (Fire - War Machine) but I am most disapointed that we saw so little of his deck(s).

Raphael and Varon are awesome too, but I really like Amelda the best.

Almeda's fire deck was much cooler than his machine deck, if you asked me. But as far as the Toons go, you gotta remember that this is all fiction, and in fiction, the good and bad guys can do anything. ^^


I can respect people's opnion about Valon being their favorite; they didn't give him enough time to let us explore his character, and maybe if they did, I'd like him more. But I seriously couldn't stand his fake Aussie accent; WHY did they do that? I'd like his duel with Joey even more if he didn't do much talking. Heh.

It IS Ameruda. You see, the Japanese do not have the letter "L", thus "Malik" is incorrect. It is indeed pronounced (American) Ah-meh-ru-da. In the same way that it's Kamyurra, not Kamyulla, it's Ameruda.

Also, it IS Baron. You see, vis-a-vis the whole R-L thing, the Japanese have a B-V thing. It's not Varon or Valon, for the Japanese do not have Vs. Their Bs sound R, it's simply how you use the accent. Plus, he wears goggles similar to barons, or pilots who perform daring stunts.

I'm not bashing you, because I'm homosexual for your site, but, you should learn basic Japanese, or atleast how letters and accents work.

Gurimo was a warrior since he served the serpent so he could rid the world of impurities for the final solution.

Mai could be considered one, but, same with Ryuusaki and Haga, none of them cared to rid the world of undersirable elements, but rather get power, revenge, and a name for themselves.

Raphael has a great play system, Sacrifing his life points for protect his monsters until Guardian Eatos/Deathscythe appears.

But the best deck of all 3 is Varon's armor deck.Freakin original, and the duels against Otogi and Rebecca and late against Jonouchi i enjoyed it like a kid lol.

in battle city he runs bm, bmg, buster blader, the -500 one, and slifer, people don't get that they don't keep the original cards intact in each entrance,

in the vr world he runs pretty much the top version without the -500 and slifer, and puts in swift gaia.

in the final duel he runs a ??? amount, almost similar to the last duel, but he removes the god cards, so the kids don't die

in the pharoah duel he runs tricky(does not use him as a tribute), bm, bmg, -500 guy, swift gaia(no tribute), jacks knight(uses the effect), magician of black chaos(why a ritual?), and the god cards

lil yugi runs gandora, curse of dragon, summoned skull, and probably regular gaia so he could fusion. you can easily separate the cards yugi uses and atemu, just find the cute ones, and the more teenager cards and separate.

Just because we didn't see Yugi use certain cards doesn't mean he didn't have them in his deck...remember, the only deck we've seen all of was Yugi's Toy deck.

I never really liked any one Doma guy more than the others. I liked Amelda's Machine deck (especially Ziggurat), but he was a little...odd. Varon had a couple of great episodes (vs. Otogi/Rebecca, vs. Jou), but I can't find anything I like about him over Rafael.

I'd say the Doma guys EACH had their own unique and good backgrounds. But, none was as Badass as Valon. Raphael take a VERY close second.
