Chimeco?

does anybody know where to catch a chimeco?

They're on the peak of Mt. Pyre. They have a 1 in 100 chance of appearing, making them the rarest non-legendary Pokémon ever. It takes extreme patience to find one.

It has. It's not THAT rare though. I've seen quite a few in my Sapphire.

yeah i dont think its 1 in 100 i caught one in about 4 battles (may be lucky), i thougth it would be harder, the hardest to find non-legend should be Feebas, only 6 squares in the entire game and they switch around

I NEVER even seen Chimeco in game...
(Which might be due to the lack of time I spent on the summit Mt. Pyre...)

I tried to catch one yesterday. 50 battles in the right area and I didn't see a single one.

they are extremely hard to find...and even harder to find a good nature, good thing you can breed :D

It has shown up for me a couple of times. I already caught one but it's not that hard to find even though it the rarest non-legendary pokemon in the game next is Feebas.

Chimeco was the hardest pokemon I had to find...IT took so long for me to find it. But boy did it feel good when i found it and catching it(whew...that crafty son of a !#%#^ :D)

Chimecho is really, really rare. The two rarest Pokemon in the game are Chimecho and Feebas. I actually made count of the Pokemon I met before finding Chimecho. I found 74 Duskulls and 38 Shuppets before I found the Chimecho. (Ruby Version) Though Feebas may be more of a pain in the neck, once you hit the spot, you'll have a good chance of getting much more of it.

It took me 5 min. to find one of these! I False Swiped it and wrestled a little bit before it used Take Down. o.o

5 more min. of looking for it, I saw and caught my first shiney, Shuppet! About 25 min. later I finally saw another Chimeco and caught the little chit. Yay for me.
