Carmulla is a real Vampire but I think its mainly to do with the Shadow items and she has been changed because of it,I'm sure normally shes just a ordinary person and will revert back once shes defeated or something...revert back to someone lame X D .

i dont know what if she's a real vampire and her shadow item has nothing to do with it then it will be pretty weird i think she was bitten by a vampire and not turned into one by her item besides that shadow item could just be fake and used to freak people out during duels

She seems too accurate to the legends for her look to be just a shadow illusion. If shadow magic can prevent you from crossing running water without a boat, I'd believe it.

Back on topic, I love Carmulla's Duel Disk. Spiffy wing!
