Or does the AI have pre-made hands and draws that are randomly generated?
I think the game just plains arranges what it believes can be the best possible draws for the turn. I mean EVERYTIME I USE CED's effec they draw MONSTER REBORN EVERYTIME WITHOUT FAIL.

They seem randomized to me.... After dueling Kaiba in tournies 30 times I really haven't noticed a pattern.

It's random. That'll teach you to use CED :p .

I find that too, but not every time. More like 75% of the time, they draw the abosolute perfect card to counter what I did the turn before.

The game actually reminds me of the anime in how the characters' decks do new things each time. Strangely enough, I just had Marik summon CED then set 2 traps, activate Mage Power then United We Stand and Big Bang shot right after I summoned MoBC...

well Many of the deecks have more than 40 cards. And to make things more interesting when a computer player can't use a card because of the ban list, they simply take it out and don't bother trying to substitute.

I think they rig it. BLS and CED always end up at the bottom of my deck.

i agree..i can almost predict which trap they have, it's usually the EXACT trap they need for that situation..i.e. magic jammer, 7 tools..(gimme a break here..) or trap hole, it get's old after awhile, i still win, but it takes too bloody long sometimes
Think that's bad? How about running into one Mirror Force, then summoning another monster the next turn to run smack into another one? (Shadow Realm)

Actually that's because the decks they use are tailored to demolish creature ofense oriented decks.

Not true all the time. During the last week of the Limited Tournament, I had just entered Jinzo into the database and it was immediately banned. I dueled Kaiba in the tournament on the same day and guess what he summoned in his 2nd turn ... Jinzo. =/ Luckily, I drew Snatch Steal next turn. But I thought that was rather unfair.

Interesting. Maybe it's only for regular duels. Especially since I've never seen Kaiba use Jinzo.

Heh that happened to me OUTSIDE the shadow realm.
Kaiba seems to get out the BEUD, Megmorph, Cyberstien Combo quite alot, even though it usually gets Cylyndered, snatched, or even swallowed up by my TER :)
