View Full Version : What Flaws Could You Change
Paladin of Light

Hey everyone, this is a milestone for me as this is my 100th post. Every milestone I make, I take on a topic that is very close to my heart.
We all are human, and as humans we have flaws. I have a flaw that is just ripping me apart inside. I have been lonely most of my life. Most of the people I come into contact reject me because they know I'm different. They cast me out because I don't meet their "standards." That has led me to stay secluded in my room and keep dark secrets from even my parents. I just want to be their friends and help them with their problems, but they just don't want to because they don't understand. They are just denying themselves happiness that does not fade away, a true friend. I am loyal to whoever is my friend, I stand by them no matter what, I'll fight for their very lives if I have to. I just feel so helpless inside, alone in a dark world where greed, coruption, and evil threaten every thing that is good. Now I ask, my fellow players, my friends, what is that one flaw you could change? Please, I am desperate, I know if this keeps up, I might never trust and love anyone again.

I would change the way I act while I'm at school... I'm going through almost the same thing...

Thanks Millenium Master, it's nice to see someone understands. I wish we could actually see and talk to each other. That goes for everyone.

My username is connected with an underscore: Millenium_Master :p
On topic: I would like to meet.... I have only met one person on Pojo face to face because I go to school with him.... lol

I'm am the prime example of perfection. What's there not to like about me, apart from fear you may have of decapitation while in my presence? Oh, that's right. I'm better than you.
Anyone who disagrees with anything I say is wrong. And dead. I'm going to live forever, or die trying. And so far I've been doing pretty well.

My worst flaw is I am a procrastinator - I always wait until the last moment to do things (important or otherwise)
Paladin of Light: You just got to start talking to people, man. It seems like your best qualities aren't ones which are immediately apparent. Just try your best to meet people and give them a chance to know you. Don't let others bring you down either and don't give up if it doesn't work out right away. Good luck.
Fallen Ronin: "Live forever or die trying" That sounds like an oxymoron....Also, I disagree with everything you are saying (just to be a prick :p)
Millenium_Master: Your name is seperated by an underscore, too? Wow what a coincidence. So's mine!

To have more courage. The girl I like is leaving my school in less than two months, and I am so shy I don't have the balls to even make small tslk with her. I need some help =\.

Hmm, here's a few off the top of my head:
- Like Big J (juggmon_jugg) said, I leave things until the last minute. Hey, that reminds me - maybe I should get started on my paper due tomorrow . . . .
- I'm way too muscular. On average, I go through 7 shirts a day, the most common thing being my shirt disintegrating with the flexing of any of my muscles. I should stop working out. At 7"8, 345 pounds of raw muscle, I think I should stop.
- I have got to stop using 18% of my brain. I should use 10%, but I'd rather not . . .
- I should stop always being right . . .
That's about it.
P.S. - Ronin, you will die. And, I'll be the first of many to dance on your grave. Just kidding, buddy.

Sorry for being late to the party, I was busy making comics. Wow, small world after all. I never knew so many people could have my same conditions. Acutually I have ADHD and Asperguer's Syndrome. That means my mind gets stuck and gets distracted easily, but I have great intelligence and I have a lot of common sense. Thank you so much for posting, I feel so much better after making this topic. I wonder how many people will post?

I'd give myself wings, elf ears, and blue hair(you gotta have the blue hair (http://www.homestarrunner.com/sbemail57.html)). You see, I love my personality but hate to even think that I'm only human. Which is why chances are I'll get a career in genetic engineering to make an army to take over the world!!

Of course I am; I don't have a 1.9 GPA and an IQ of 54 for nothing now do I?
Anyway, I am so glad that my English remedial classes actually paid off....
O_Master: You're joking about your stats right?....Right?....I can't tell if you are being sarcastic or not (I only took remedial english 12 after all....I barely knew how to recognize that ronin's line was actually an oxymoron or not....)
Hero of Time: Find out whatever you can about her (ask her friends if you have to). Talk to her while she is alone and on a Friday if possible and ask if she will go out with you. If she accepts, great. If not, then at least no one saw it and by next Monday, she probably won't remember either....
Most Important advice: Remember, if she rejects you, don't look like it fazed you or anything....On Monday, act oblivious...If you act all depressed its like handing her a victory. Remember, those who fall in love, lose. (j/k)

One flaw I would like to change is to not be such a dumbas$.
Seriously.
I stereotype and judge people all the time. It's something I honestly cannot cope with. I would give ANYTHING just to see people the way everybody else does.
That was a post close to my heart.

You don't have to give anything in order to see what everybody else sees, Spring Choocobo. Just try to think if your in someone else's shoes. Aww, I feel like I need a hug. :o I think people don't make topics like this because they rather stay the way they are. Just my opinon.

Well think of it in terms like this. If we change that one thing, do we change everything about us? I suppose this is just a personal thing. As they say beauty is in the eye of the beholder, so what I percieve as flaws another could see them as strengths. So what if I got my wish and changed my flaws, would this make me any better? The answer is simple-NO. what dissides what are flaws or not, is it the opinion of others? Then the one flaw that we need to fix is our need to be accepted by others and if fixed that then we would have a heaven on earth.

- Like Big J (juggmon_jugg) said, I leave things until the last minute. Hey, that reminds me - maybe I should get started on my paper due tomorrow . . . .
I bet I'm the only person here who can honestly say that in about 15 hours, I have a book report on Uncle Tom's Cabin (which I haven't started reading, though I’m guessing it’s ~600 pages long) due, plus 24 hours after that a write-up of Henry Wadsworth Longfellow's life and works which was technically assigned about three months ago, which I haven't done any work on, plus I've got a bunch of band deadlines to meet, most of which involve investment of time exceeding five hours. Oh yeah, and in a week I've gotta be ready for some FIRST robotics competition.
Procrastinators unite!
...tomorrow.

I pity you humans and your bullet-permeable flesh.
- I have got to stop using 18% of my brain. I should use 10%, but I'd rather not . . .
Actually, I think it's "Only 10% of people use their brain," if I recall correctly (and I always do, despite that I've got about 5 TB of data to keep track of). Then again, 42% of all statistics are made up on the spot.
- I should stop always being right . . .
You mean, as a political stance?
P.S. - Ronin, you will die. And, I'll be the first of many to dance on your grave. Just kidding, buddy.
Well, dancing on the floor of the Atlantic ocean might be a bit hazardous. And believe me, I'm not going to be dying any time soon, and probably not before you. I'm running on solar power, and it doesn't look like the sun will be burning out any time soon.

It's a bit more complicated than that. She is in eighth grade and I am in seventh so it is a bit different than that.

Nope, it's 10% of brain used throughout people.
EDIT: Hey, maybe you are right - 10% of people use their brains seems logical!
You mean, as a political stance?
I'm right about everything. Also, Ronin, you are by far the oddest character I have come across.
Big J - I'm always serious. ;)
