Need common cards, but popular online stores have no stock to speak of.

Is there any place besides Card-Haus that sells OCG commons? Their stock is pretty much wiped out at the moment. I need some specific cards, like Terraforming, Metamorphosis, Dark Dragon Hatcling and Level Limit. You see, my booster boxes screwed me out of a lot of key cards.

Ironic. I can get any rare i want, but commons are practically non-existant. More proof that YGO!'s second-hand market is corrupt as hell. It's not shiny, so it must not be worth selling! :mad:

Checked all 450 OCG entries. The only decent find was a complete set of Volume 1-7 + vending cards for around $200. Nothing i'm looking for.

The best way to get all the commons you need from booster sets is to buy a box every set,since 401 I've bought 1-2 boxes so I always have plenty of the commons as like you said there harder to get than the foils X D .However if you bought a box and didn't get a particular common for some reason...well I guess try asking around the trade forum?

I personally want commons from BE1,BE2,EE1 and EE2 and as buying boxes of them is twice as much and there just reprint sets I never bothered buying them,however its proving near impossible finding single common cards of them...I'm actually tempted to buy a few packs just to try and get the commons I need.

I'm actually in the same boat you are... I want a few commons from the original volume series, but I don't want to go searching through tons of packs just to obtain a few cards, especially considering the rarity of the packs, and the cost...

That's entirely the problem. My SoD box had didn't have any Dark Dragon Hatchlings. And my EE1 box had no Terraformings or Metamorphosis. I guess my last resort is to buy more Force of Dragon decks and an entire booster box of New Ruler? :( Which is a waste of money due to the fact that I bought half of New Ruler as singles and already own said structure deck. :mad:

Watch. I guarantee I won't pull a single Level Limit from EE2.

Trade forum, eh? I might check it out. I got a spare Exodia head that might make for some decent bait.

EDIT: Holy crap, I went and checked it. That's not US$255. That's 255 POUNDS (around $500).

It was 200 US when I checked it. It's not surprising it nearly tripled in a day. Not to mention I probably tipped off a few people here that want it.

I don't really like volume cards, since their authenticity always comes in to question when I duel the ignorant. No holo box and all.

Lol I knew the seller selling that and I was tempted to bid on it myself though I have most of the volume and booster cards anyway.

Its a shame the shop here doesn't have a online site as it sells commons and rares up to 309 very cheap for under 10p each,I guess I could check to see if they do have a online store...

Sorry Astrael but this is nothing to do with your question but I thought it was sort of revevant. In the volume series images on Ebay just past half way down, in between lightening rod and fake trap is that the original art for trap hole? And near the bottom, is that the dub fusion?

That is indeed, the anime Fusion. I thought that was the original art and that we have an alternate art, but my friend insists that the LOB version of Fusion was the original art and the Volume Series Fusion was an alternate.

I wonder why the dub used that art instead of the LOB one. And why did a card like Call From The Darkness need alternate art?

Ah fusion that makes sense,It was released in volume 6 and the other Fusion was released in the original starter pack first so it is indeed a alternate art version rather than original.
