Does anyone know if there would be updates to this series? I believe that the cards only go up to Pharaonic Guardian. So, will there be downloadable updates to the game or is there going to be a whole new game that we have to buy?
Also, what do you guys think of this game? I think that it is a very fun game and the computer, although dumb at times, still put up a challenge. The cards scans are superior to those of other Yu-Gi-Oh games. The rules are up to date, and I don't see many wrong card rulings.

The Power of Chaos series for the PC are actual "games" in the same sense as the GBA, PS2 and Xbox games, where there's a preprogrammed goal and scenarios to navigate.
Rather, they're TCG training simulators that provide Beginner (PCY), Intermediate (PCK) and Advanced (PCJ) play options, which allow the user to learn and practice their TCG game play in a non-threatening environment, free from fear of ridicule and scorn.
There's a clear skill progression inherent in the series, culminating in a networked play option in PCJ.
The next logical step in this progression is Yu-Gi-Oh! Online...
For all in intents and purposes, the POC series was much a testbed for the code used to build Yu-Gi-Oh! Online as it was a separate product.
In any case, by the time you've mastered the skills taught and drilled in the POC series to the point where you could effectively use the later cards, you've probably outgrown the need for the POC series anyway.
At that point, you should be ready to go online and put your skills to the test in actual Duels with human opponents.

PoC games were okay but nothing too good. Aside from the promos, they were over-hyped and under-developed. The dueling simulator is lame but the graphics and effects are quite good. It's just boring, repetitive, and the game is so stacked against you. It's very hard to get decent cards.
Give me a real human opponent any day!

I know but it's internet dueling basically and that's not the same. The "live" aspect has been removed and it's not as amusing.

is there going to be an expansion that we could buy to this series, except Yu-Gi-Oh Online?

What really pisses me off is that I can't figure out how to save on PoCKtR.

I had the same problem on KtR... Maybe it's non-savable unless you have PCY... Oh, well..

I liked POC-JTP but they should release a final POC that lets you duel many different people, maybe with more playable versions of their anime decks.
