Saw today's ep... gosh that's one of the worse thing the dub ever did!

That big geyser of light IS the Spirit King! It's the Great Spirit! It's the soul of all the soul on Earth and the place they all reassemble at after death! I guess it was too 'religious' sounding --;

I know the dub is so hard to deal with it makes me angryer every time I see an episode but when its the most recent out I cant object I just want to watch it and I have watched some of the same episodes over and over again...but I love shaman King and nothing can quench my thurst for more! :p

actually, i'm pretty sure it was said that was the place he is, the whole stream isn't the King of spirits.
I'll have to have a check though.

Trsut me, it IS the Great Spirit.

Spoilers alert!

The Great Spirit isn't the ghost of anything, it's the ghost of EVERYTHING! It's a collective of soul! It's where all Souls on Earth are from and where they all go after crossing over! Within it are various community of souls who gathered, some are hells others are heavens, but the judge of where you go or don't is no one but yourself. When Chocolove is killed by the golem piloted by the kids of the man he killed on Christmas eve all those years ago he first ends up in Hell because of his feeling of guilt, but through trials and the help of his old master he manages to reach the Incan heaven where he encounters the soul of Pascal Avaf. Chocolove comes to a conclusion similar to Kenshin in that he can never change the past so he'll just word hard for the future... also as punishement he left himself blind when the Gandhara revived him.

The Great Spirit is only visible for a maximum of 6 months every 500 years when the two cometh that announce the begining of the Shaman Fight pass near the Earth, it is their combine attraction that makes it burst out of the ground like that.

I feel so sorry for Chocolove, because hes so funny, his story really touchs me! The thing about working to the future is common in alot of animes and it works in almost every one Chocolove is so heroic...but I cant beleave all the death stuff poor Chocolove! :(

Ah, another British Shaman King fan? I've watched many of the epis in sub as I learned long ago not to trust the dub LOL but I was annoyed at Jetix (as FK is now known) restarting it so soon!
