Focus Band help

I am having trouble remembering how the coin flip works with Focus Band. I know the effect, I just forget what flip results trigger the card's effect. The card is trying to work in favor of the controlling player, but your opponent is flipping the coin. It has me confused. Can I please get some help? Thanks in advance!

PS: Sorry about the double-post, but Magmar-ex and Focus Band are two different cards, and this is the "single" card discussion forum...

The Owner of the Pokémon that Focus Band is attached to flips the coin. As usual Heads means it is not KOed but has 10 HP left. The opponent has nothing to do with this except hoping for Tails.
