New to Shaman King, can u help me?

I want to find out where i can find info about the Shaman King anime.

I was looking at the SHonen Jump the other day, I saw the list, I was wandering who the hell is Jeanne? Her partner was Mash (if it helps)

You didn't have to repost this here ya know...how well I'll quote my post in your other thread:

Shamash is a spirit of the 'god' category, like Spirit of Fire or the one used by the woman leading the Gandhara group...

Iron Maiden Jeanne (as she is often refered to) toture herself constantly, she's 'taking the pain of the entire world upon her' and in fact, since she gets really close to death on a daily basis (Shamash is capable of healing her) her Furyoku level raises everyday.

She's pretty much second in power to only Hao because of her constantly rising Furyoku (Hao reached his peak at 1 250 000 points)

And if you forgot Jeanne leads the X-Laws.

I started out by reading the manga. There are currently 5 volumes, you can go to any book store and buy those. I perfer the manga myself but it is way behind the anime. I went on ebay and bought 3 box sets (15 DVD's) of the anime from Japan so I could catch up with where the American episodes are. I havent watched them all yet Im only through the first box.

If you just want mildly get into the shaman atmosphere read the manga because its just better and really un-cut. But if you want to get into both just watch episodes on FOX saturday morning.

Yes you could read the manga or you could watch the series but if your looking for quick information about the series then I would just recomend using the good old internet heres a link to a pretty good site charater decription wise:http://shamankinghq.net/
