Mario Kart: Double Dash!!: Yay or Nay?

It is a really good game, and fun in versus mode. The only problem is that it feels rushed, and things that could've looked better, didn't.

Nay, I wanted a Mario Kart 64 updated instead of what we got. It's a fair game, but I'm sticking with Mario Kart 64.

I like DD way better then 64. In DD you can play with up to 16 people, you can race online, you can play with 4 players in GP, the characters all have their own unique specials, there are hidden karts/characters/tracks making GP mode worth playing, & you have over 700 possibilities to choose from instead of just 8 like in MK64.

I enjoyed playing DD. I like the graphics(of course) and it seemed fresh. I didn't think it seemed rushed at all. An overall good experience playing the game. I would recommend it.

i liked mario kart DD i think it was pretty good its really fun with 4 people. i recommend the game also.

A Yay, for sure (or fo sho' if you prefer :p ).

I like how there are unlockable features, like the Toad and King Boo characters etc. But I was annoyed at how small the battle arenas are :mad:

Yay and Nay, It is a fun game but can be really frustrating. Also the arenas are too small. But on the other hand alot of unlockable features good characters, alot of characters to begin with.

I miss my shell shield, and item dragging. Block Fort & Skyscraper were my faves in Mario Kart 64. The Gamecube level is tolerable in Double Dash, but the VS arenas are still too small. I wanted more of a Mario Kart 64 update rather than what we got.

Yea! I still own MK64 and so I can play that if I want...

But I don't want... It may be a better game, but...

I played this game at babbages and from what i saw Yay! It has god controls, cool weapons and the weight of the cars is a nice touch.

its a good game, its only made better if you have people to play with... and there lies the down fall of this game with many gamers. we just arent exactly known for our social lives. i managed to beat most of the game on my own, but some of the last levels i found easier to beat only with another person to watch my back. other then that though, its an awesome game.

Proof of Rushed-ness: Yoshi, Yoshi Kart (not really round, bumpy)
Proof of Non Rushed-ness: Lots of stuff in the background, and sound effects when you're hit. (waluigi stadium, bowser's castle)

I'd say nay. It just didn't appeal to me.

I'd say yay. Good graphics, game play, etc. but it gets repetitive after a while (I'm starting to get bored with it)
