Ok, I was wondering, what order do you think an annoyer's attacks should go in? I mean, they are all necessary to use, but which one should go where and how can you used them to reduce the amount of damage done to you in the few turn time period. I've given names for a common annoyer's basic attacks:

Annoyer@lefties/?
Fire Spin/Mean Look (the trapping moves)
Toxic/WoW (the infection move)
Attract/Confuse Ray (the diswayer moves)
Fly/Dive/Dig (the hit-and-run moves)
Flamethrower/etc. (coomon attack that is best suited for the specific pokemon)
(((the hit-and-run move and the basic attack move are usually used as a last slot after all the stat reducers, etc. are added so you can pretend these two attack move types are like one kind of move)))
Ex.
Crobat@shell bell/?
Mean Look
Toxic
Confuse Ray
Fly

or

Croba@shell bel/?
Mean look
Toxic
Confuse Ray
Aerial Ace/whatever

Also could you give me an order of the attacks used in battle if one is battling a dumb opponent in the game and if one is battleing a skilled friend. Thanks in advance.

Crobat is a good annoyer.

Crobat@Lefties
-Mean Look
-Confuse Ray
-Toxic
-Fly

I usually Toxic first, then Mean Look. If they switch, that means another Pokemon to get poisoned. After they're trapped, Confuse Ray. Then Fly until they die. Every turn they get damage from Toxic and a 50% chance of hurting themselves, while Crobat recovers with Leftovers. He can't do very well against steel types.

My favorite annoyer is:

Ludicolo@Lefties
-Leech Seed
-Toxic
-DT
-Dive

Super recoverer. First Leech Seed, so you get two recovery effects per turn. Toxic, then DT 3-4 times and Dive. This stratagy has done well for me at the BT and in linked battle.

I've found an effective Crobat set that takes advantage of its most annoying moves, but also has attacking moves as well.

Crobat(f)@lum/leftovers
Jolly
252 atk/252 spd/6 HP
Attract
Toxic
Shadow Ball
Sludge Bomb

Crobat cannot survive much of anything, so your better of not wasting a turn trying to mean look. Attract lowers thier accuracy substantially more than confusion. Shadow Ball is great for taking out Zams, which are very OU. And Sludge Bomb for STAB. But in order, I'll Attract first if thier an opposite gender, or use an attack thier weak to, if they are neither, I'll simply switch. If they have been attracted, simply toxic, then beat away with the stronger of your 2 attacks depending on the foe.

Another nice annoyer is

Dusclops@lum or chesto
=Confuse Ray
=Will-o-Wisp
=Night Shade
=Rest

I like to use confuse ray first then WOW. Usually by then I've taken a hit or two and will rest. Night shade to finish them off.

Dusclops is a great PP-consuming tank too. It is not effected by Exploders or half of the OHKO moves in R/S either (horn drill and guillotine). It can take out all three Regis and many other pokemon. These strengths come in handy at the BT too.

Crobat is a good annoyer, until it faces Metagross. Then try this...

Crobat@Leftovers
~Shadow Ball
~Toxic
~Confuse Ray
~Aerial Ace

you wanna annoying Crobat why not this

Crobat
@Leftovers
Toxic
Confuse Ray
Attract
Bite

Poisonfusionattractionflinching. If you put Mean Look in there, they are trapped and can't do anything. While you heal up they are aflictted by statues and annoyer moves. Umbreon can do that do.

You forgot lanturn can do it too. but he has even more annoyance

Thunder Wave
Confuse Ray
Attract
Surf
@King's Rock
Lanturn

Parafushionattraction, with Flinching things to Surf and King's Rock for those pokemon you made slower, because of that. Plus it get's a STAB for it.

Also Double don't forget about Double-Resters. Those were really annoying back in the day. Maybe they still are, besides who uses Hazers any more. except for Pseudo-hazers, and who uses thoughs.

For Ludicolo, wasn't this the standard
@Leftovers
Ability: Rain Dish
Toxic
Leech Seed
Dive/Ice Beam (for flyers)
Rain Dance

Whats DT? you cant have Ludicolo as a super recoverer without raindance

Whats DT? you cant have Ludicolo as a super recoverer without raindance

DT = Double Team

Basically you could have a Double-Rester Ludicolo, that would be very annoying, and if you added Rain Dance, and put Leech Seed and Leftovers it would prevent all damage done to him, unless a hazer came out and he would still be healing.

Does that Toxic-Leech Seed combo work in Ru/Sa? Or was it fixed even in gsc? The combo is supposed to be that Leech Seed absorbs more health if the opponent is poisoned w/ toxic. So do you have to use toxic first, and then leech seed, or won't it matter? I've been trying to see if it makes a difference either way but I can't tell.

In regards to toxic-trapper Crobat, I think you should use Confuse Ray first. Once the opponent sees Crobat they'll probably switch to someone resistant or who can't be poisoned, or a pseudohazer. If any of that is the case but you still did Confuse ray, you won't have wasted a turn using toxic or trapping the wrong pokemon, and if you'll end up switching out crobat anyway, the opponent will be still be confused or end up switching as well.
