This is a brand new team that I have created to try and beat my record of 44 wins in the battle tower so far. Wish me luck with this one...

*Slaking(Sloth)@choice band
-Naughty
~Hyper Beam
~Brick Break
~Shadow Ball
~Earthquake
A full on sweeper. It's a very rare sight to see him not OHKO a poke. Stuff like Skarmorys or tanks stand up to him.

*Registeel(Robotank)@leftovers
-Timid
~Metal Claw
~Curse
~Toxic
~Rest
Your typical TankSteel. He helps to balance the team out and is quite capable of KO'ing many opponents with Toxic.

*Starmie(Coral)@lum berry
-Modest
~Surf
~Ice Beam
~T-bolt
~Recover
A special sweeper that I had to sub in for my Latios which I had leveled up for use in my normal team.

Here's the pokemon I had in for Starmie but took out so the AI wouldn't create an easy counter team...

*Metagross(Steelcrab)@lum berry
-Gentle
~Light Screen
~Earthquake
~Shadow Ball
~Meteor Mash

Thanks in advance for the help!

nice team but
Ur Slaking has a Bad nature for it sp.def..with a low one it'll get KO'ed by many pokemon higher up in 1 hit...believe me i know..otherwise its moveset is good

Give Registeel
amensia..thats really essential if u want it to survive all those sp.atk's

metagross+ starmie are good

Fun

*Registeel(Robotank)@leftovers
-Adamant(you'll be losing all your speed with curse anyway)
252 sp.def, 252 def, 6 HP
~Metal Claw/Return(I suggest Return though)
~Curse
~Toxic
~Rest
Good

*Starmie(Coral)@lum berry
-Modest
252 sp.atk, 252 spd, 6 sp.def
~Surf
~Ice Beam

I agree with Rare Hunter about giving RegiTank amnesia. Then use either toxic or rest for the final slot. I use toxic but others say rest is real good too. Consider PP maxing metal claw.

One more thing---Be careful with choice band on Slaking that it is never your LAST pokemon because you won't be able to switch out if needed. I lost at the BT after winning 80-something straight once because I didn't know that it would start to struggle even if all the other moves had PP left (duh). It can be easy to over-rely on Hyper beam, which you can only max to 8 PP. Just wanted to mention this stuff in case you didn't know.

becareful as SA said..don't over count on hyper beam..for me up to around the 90's my hyper beam had only mised once then it missed loads of times duing crucial stages of the match..buyt luck was wih me and it hit or the win
and get an adment nature slaking...u don't really want naughty or lonley

I think you should keep metal claw for STAB and for a quick KO
