Currently Briareos from the forums has made a patch for apprentice for Duel Masters, as far as I know (and I've played around with it quite much) it's all correct, and I trust him...so now I'm hosting it on a dl site:

http://67.97.59.74/robbie/

just click on cardinfo.dat and save it somewhere and copy it to your C:/apprentice/sets folder and overwrite the old one..

NOTE: replace C:/apprentice/* with where you installed appr to!

EDIT: By the way we need an official POJO IRC Chat....maybe they will put that up for us....anyway where should we meet until the tide rolls in?

Maybe I'm missing something but, what about the shields. I started playing and what am I going to do when my opponent breaks a shield (and what about shield triggers).

What I would say (as with some cards in YGO) you must show shields to your opponant, so they know if it's a sheild trigger or not. Then move it to your hand. That's really the only fair way to do it...and it works quite well (while I'm battling myself anyway =\ )

At the begining of the game hold shift over the deck (not draw) and drag a card to the field facedown to set up 5 shields. Then you must show your opponant when you draw a shield...I know it's a little diffrent but's it's the only way on Appr to make sure they don't swap cards (unless you can think of something better)...

Why use an apprentice patch when you can use a program designed for duel masters. you can download such a program at www.*****************/users/kingofgames999. its has the whole english set + the first 6 japanese sets. and optional support for card images in the english set.

Well because as of now, your program is good for battling, while deck making is a bit off and easier in Apprentice...The only other problem I have with your program (other than a few grammer errors which I can list later for you if you want) is that you have to open another window to tap mana...why can you just make it add onto the bottom/side instead? wouldn't it be easier that way....

I may sound evil, but your program is actually really good, but can be better with some simple changes...then again...i could be missing something on the mana thing.
