Given that Vegeta was the main villian of the saga, I'd say it's a fair name change, but overly trivial in the long run.

It is based around many saiyans(4), Goku, Vegeta, Raditz, and Nappa. Vegeta was the most powerful but hell, it should be saiyan saga. In all right it should not have a name unless Funi redubs the Ocean group episodes(saiyan and namek saga)

It makes sense for the latter part of the saga (named after the key villain, ei. Freezer, androids, Cell,...), but the beginning shouldn't be called that, it really has nothing to do with Veggie man.

Geez, why do we care? It's not like it was ever officially called the saiyan saga other than for marketing reasons. We still know what they're talking about and it's not like we have to start referring to it as such. No biggie.

Now what the heck is the point of changing the name of the saga. It was perfectly fine the way it was, I know their redubbing the whole series to where it is uncut. But really now what is the point to changing the title as I've said before. Vegta's a cool character but the saga's title was fine the way it was. But meh whatever me arguing over the name isn't going to do anything for me so I just don't care. Way to go Funimation.

Agree, i think "Saiyan" saga is more fitting...but oh well....

They could changed the name to time of "happy go-lucky fighting time saga" for all I care. It's not going to change anything, everyone will still call it the saiyan saga. A rose would smell just a sweet by any other name, as William might say.
