Two questions 1) can you fight shobu in the game? 2 )what is the story of the game about?

1) You can only play against Shobu if you unlock him and still only if you are playing against another player.

2) Well, the story actually sucks. Widow tried to set loose and bind 5 special monsters into cards. Each of your characters must locate all the card pieces, battle their monster, and then enter the tournament. After you beat the tournament you still have to take on Widow to beat the game. She has a pretty good deck, but the computer has no idea how to play.

PS Be sure to take advantage of being able to cast spell whenever you like during your turn.
