I don't know if you guys remember my Skull Servant Support edition of Create-a card, on the old board, but I tought that was prettty successful. I proposed to go with Dinosaur next and well... the board went down, so I'm starting again in a new topic on the new board! There'S not enough Dinosaurs, and even less note worthy ones! Let's correct that shall we?
Facing a Dino deck should be like facing a brutal wild animal ready for anything for survival, a Dinodeck should be pure beatdown and designed to make combat more important. It shouldn't be compatible with Hand-d while protecting itself from it. It should force opponent to fight rather than negate and deplete and it hould have a good ammount of LP gaining card, to survive a burner! Here are some cards I tought of:
White Tip the Raptor

'Increase this card's ATK by 500 points when battling with a Monster of the same type as this card'
(EDIT: That should have read '500' all along, not 5000! )
Fangs of Survival
Equip Spell
A Dinosaur monster equiped with this card increase it's ATK by 200 points. When the equipped monster destroys a monster in battle, increase your life points by an ammount equal to half the destroyed monster's original defense.

Lord Pteryx:
2600/1400 6* Effect: you may choose to attack twice. If you attack twice, this creature flips into defense position. you cannot change it back the same turn.
Velociraptor: (know jurassic park?)
1800/1500 4* (groupie)
You can use 2 or more of a same unit with groupie for a joint attack or defense, but that counts as all of them attacking or defending.
example: there is 3 villoserraptors on the field
1800*3 = 5400! but they all attack at once. (beware yomi ship!)
1500*3 = 4500! but if you loose, they are all dead.
King Rex:
2850/2300 8* Effect: For every dinosaur on the field, king rex is 300 points higher attack and defense as long as they are on the field.

Knife Foot Raptor-earth-lv4-dinosaur/effect-1500/100-If your opponent controls a face-up monster on the field with twice or more attack than this monsters, this monster may attack twice during your turn.
Feathered Predator-wind-lv4-dinosaur/effect-1300/800-This card may attack your opponents life points directly if your opponent only controls monsters with less attack than this one.
Striped Stegasaurus-earth-lv5-dinosaur/effect-2300/1600-If this monster is destroyed in battle, your opponent looses 800 life points.

We should really stop using 'Rex' in card names :p We created three and there's already Twin Headed King Rex :p There'S enough to make a card that search for cards with 'Rex' in their name lol.
Those Raptor cards sound neat, but I don't think a Dino deck should be about swarming the opponent. It should be about overpowering.
Man I'd like for a lot of these card to be real, we could make awesome Dino Decks.

Thank you Undrave for your compliment of my creations, but in the time of the dinosaurs, numbers did mean a lot. If you have a big ol' Tyrannasaurus Rex walking around, and a herd of raptors (yes, they traveled in herds) swarmed it, the raptors would come out the victor, since they need only to a) execute their cunning hunting tricks, and b) make some quick, deep slashes in the T-Rex's legs to let it bleed to death.
And anyway, there should be more than one way to play a certain kind of deck. Otherwise you'll know exactly what you're up against.

Yeah I guess you're right... altough those raptors should be slithgly stronger... not to much off course, otherwise it becomes broken.... then again the hunting raptors could have their own archetypes :p More Archetypes = more fun...
And you're right about the predictability thing. My bad then.
You know, I just noticed we haven't made a single Fusion yet :p

Also, during your Battle Phase you may special summon one Teamed-Attack token (Lv. ?, ?/?, Earth/Dinosaur). That card could be so annoying :p Frozen Monster counters are like unstoppable Ground Collapse until the end of your next turn hehehehehehe. The two secondary effects aren't bad either no? Let's not forget the LP bonus you get from sending the Wooly Mammoth to the graveyard in the fusion :p.

Whenever this monster attacks, flip a coin. If heads, attack as normal. If tails, the target of the attack must be one of your own monsters. If the result is tails and you have no other monsters on the field, this monster will attack your life points directly.

Well gotta love those Raptors.
Unstable Raptor is pretty neat. I should have made Polarausus a Polar Raptor or Ice Raptor, would have been cooler.

Permanent Trap Card

During this turn, if any of your face up attack position Dinosaur monster(s) destroy monster(s) on your opponents side then activate one of the following effect for every opponents monster destroyed:

- send the top 3 cards from your opponents deck to their graveyard and remove one of those cards from play.

You can activate this card if u have a dinosaur sub type on ur side of the field in face up defense mode and your opponent has successfully tribute summoned a monster. Destroy the tribute summoned monster if its ATK power is greater then the DEF power of your dino.
Counter Trap card
A Wicked Thrashing
Negate the activation of a trap card that specifically designates a dino type on the field and destroy it.

If your opponent has face down monsters, they are flipped into face-up defense. Flip effects are negated. All of your opponent's monsters that can attack this turn must do so.
Prehistoric Intelligence - Attack
Normal Magic Card
If your opponent has any face down monsters, they are flipped face-up in defense mode. Negate flip effects. During this turn, set magic and trap cards cannot be activated.

Talon is FIRE and Fang is WATER, I guess WIND is the closest to steam.

Put a 'weight counter' on all of your Dinosaur type monsters. When that monster would be destroyed by a trap or monster effect, negate that card and remove the counter.

u can unite this mon with a dino with "Raptor" in its name. U can "un"-unite it once per turn during ur main phase. The dino equipped with this union mon/equip spell card gains 2000 DEF points and is changed into DEF position. This monster can attack while in DEF position.
Egg - Shard Launcher
* 250/250
dino/spirit
no special summon. When normal, flip or flip face up this mon can attack directly. If this mon does direct damage to your opp then u select the phase of play that they will skip next turn. This mon returns to ur hand at the end of the turn in which it was normal, flip or flipped face up.

this is just a suggestion but add Dinosaur King to the deck, He has a nice effect and is only 5 stars.

Each Time it does damage add 2 cards to your hand and destroy the top 2 from your opponets deck. When this card is equiped with The sword of Dark magic it can atk your opponets life points directly.
