i have an egg with the poke virus should i hatch it, keep it off by itself or what ? what do you suggest? thanks

Do not hatch it. Keep it at the head of your party. Get into a battle and let it spread to some other pokemon. Hatch it then if you wish, keep one or many pokerus infected pokemon in your box for later use. Every now and then reinfect new ones for storage.

Hatch it, and make sure all the other pokes in your party have it. Then withdraw a weak and useless poke, infect it, and deposit it. Leave that weak poke in the PC until you want to infect something else. You can now give anything pokerus whenever you want. BTW, Pokerus won't go away while pokes are in the PC.

you cant battle with an egg, if you put it first, when you battle the second pokemon in your lineup will battle
