What is hidden power?

Hidden Power is a move that give a certain type and power to its attack based on the pokemon's IVs (aka genes). This type of thing is a very advanced training method, so it is confusing to say the least. Take note that the power of the move cannot go beyond 70, and it can't be normal. Hope this helps!
