Dragon Ball Z CDs (http://toysnjoys.com/dragonball_music.html) Are these CDs worth getting? I was wondering...they're only $9.99...

$9.95 is extremely cheap. I don't see anything wrong with buying one.

While the low price is tempting - i'de be a little concerned about the picture quality of those eps...they might be pretty crappy and unwatchable.

I would go for them, but those arent the best cds. The best cd is the DB 10th Anniversary Special cd, which has 45 BGMs on it. That cost me $29.00 when I bought it in New York City, but well worth it.

For advice, don't buythe Dragonball Best collection. It appears to be pirated material and the lyrics are incorrect and look to be copied and pasted.
I think collection 8 is pretty good. Well, any hit collection you wanna buy should be okay...personally though, I would avoid the GT CDs. Their music is usually boring and badly sung....comparitively.

I have the DB/DBZ/DBGT theme song collection which is excellent, it has all the opening and ending songs of all 3 series plus several of the movie themes.
I also have the Super Butoden 2 music collection. This probably isn't what you are looking for since it is only background music from the video game, but it is still pretty cool. I mainly bought it for the Trunks Theme, which is excellent.

I'de like to get a hold of the original soundtracks from the first half of DBZ (Saiyan and Namek/Freeza sagas).

If they're the real deal, get them.

Those are all bootlegs. However, since the official versions have criminal price tags and aren't too easy to come by, I'd say just go for the bootlegs.
They sound just as good as the originals, the only difference is that they may not have any inserts.
As for a specific set(s) I'd recommend... that first one. It's one of the 4 complete song collection sets (they're compilations of all the DB songs ever made), which means it's loaded with Dragonball music goodness.
I wonder why one is called 18 1/2???
I have no idea, but that CD is a good one. It has some awesome songs.
(And although this may be a mistake on my part, I know of a site that happens to have a lot of DB music up for download...Dragon Ball Arena (http://dragonballarena.gamesurf.it/english/media/audio/fullcd.php))
For advice, don't buythe Dragonball Best collection. It appears to be pirated material and the lyrics are incorrect and look to be copied and pasted.
Yup, but it would probably be near impossibe to find the original version. Besides, that is a really nice collection. (I actually own it)

np.
By the way, I forgot something. On that set I recommended, it goes for about $40 everywhere else, whether it's the official version or not.... so yeah - that is one hell of a steal lol.
I'm even getting interested in it now...
