It is an awesome game my friend. Specifically if you truly love Lord of the Rings, because this game will suck you into the world. Plus the cards are DIRT cheap right now. I mean MEGA DIRT cheap rofl. Boxes of cards going for $10.

It brought new mechanics about site specific elements that their previous site ccg's (star trek and star wars) had failed to do. However that could be seen as both narrow and story realistic. You wouldn't find the Witch King at Hobbiton necessary but in Star Trek you could be on Earth with normal draws and be in a low class Constitution ship and your opponent got lucky and he has a Borg Cube on Earth with one turns movement. Well that was the end of that with assimiliate earth and ship.

The game still has a following because Decipher still is producing new cards at modern prices. But most sets can be purchased in box's from 20-40.

The game ceased production a few months ago.

I have a bunch of cards from the first few sets. I thought the game was okay. I'd play online if there was a way to do it (is it available through OCTGN?).
