sometime in the near future "they" ought to make a card that when it comes into play it no longer counts as a permanent.
which wouldn't be too broken since you can still respond to it's comes into play ability
but once it's in play it's no longer affected by anything that only hits permanents, almost like a protection from targeted removal but wide spread affects would still get rid of it like a wrath of god and such
probably would be something more for a creature. since on an artifact or enchantment this could get outta hand.
(this is why I think the can't be the target of spells or abilities your opponents control was only on creatures and not some green enchantment.)
(I was also kinda bummed when Green didn't really get a lot to back up these cool creatures)
(an artifact creature like that could be fun but would have to be at least over costed a bit and nerfed a little.)
this would be very intresting and kind of a weird card to try to plan against blue would obviously be the best thing to stop a card like this.
