Weak pokemon BT Team results

Below is the 'weak pokemon' team that a few of us have agreed to challenge the Battle Tower with just for fun. The idea is to see just how far we can get at the BT with these 3 specific pokemon (3 of the weakest in R/S).

As expected I didn't win anything or even come close, but I was very surprised to get 35 wins. Actually, very surprised is an understatement. To be honest, I never seriously thought they'd get anywhere near even 35 wins and even had doubts if they would beat the first trainer group LOL.

I kept a record/log of each trainer/battle too, so if anyone is interested to see that I'll post it, as long as it isn't against the 'no logs' rule (IDK if it is just let me know).

The first trainer in group #6 (trainer #36) came out with a Sceptile who destroyed my whole team very easily. Before that though, I 'only' got behind 4 or 5 times and was real lucky twice that I was able to win. For example, Trainer #17 had me down to 24 HP and I thought it would end there but got lucky. Naturally, there was no sharking or rotation.

Anyway, here are the actual pokemon, with their items/EVs/IVs/movesets:

i'm suprised that tema got as far as it did...i would try it..but i dun wanna ruin my record of 105 wins yet..considering i only just got it.....
maybe u should hve a bug type move for shedninja like silver wind if it can learn it
but ncie attempt wit the team though..i mayb try one day soon

35 is pretty good, but why not use Grudge and Confuse Ray and Toxic and Silver Wind on Shednija...since it has wonder guard that will annoy the heck out them.

Maybe Double Team over Safeguard on LuvDisc, but who knows. with all those Toxifing Miltoics. That would be a good idea.

I owuld have used Quick Claw on Nosepass, for Flinching with ROck Slide. but maybe King's Rock worked for you. if you used Earthquake. since all of your other attacks, probably won't do anything.

No, LOL. It was a bit tougher than that! Here is a record of the first two trainer group battles. I wrote down all the other battles but don't have time now to type up more. If anyone want to see the other battles I can type in in like tomorrow or whatever.

p.s. Kings Rock was sucky. I should have used quick claw or maybe focus band. The movesets worked well though. I didn;t want to blow my toxic TM on shedinja. Remember, before I started I didn't even know if ythis team would win ANY battles. Luvdisc was my lead for all trainer groups.

First Trainer Group:

Trainer #1:
Slaking (I use all 3 of my pokemon to gang up on him=parafusion and several surfs faint him
Ryhdon (Luvdisc OHKO's it with Surf)
Donphan (Luvdisc two-hit KOs it with surf)

Trainer #2:
Walrein (Gang up to paralyze and confuse, then Nosepass KOs with 3 rock slides)
Wailord (I paralyze but he OHKOs my Nosepass with Water spout - I switch to Shedinja and confuse it and SB it until it faints.
Azumarill (it OHKOs my Shedinja with rollout but first I was able to confuse it. Luvdisc uses attract and surfs like 4 times and faints it.

Trainer #3:
Ninjask (Luvdisc OHKOs with Icebeam)
Shuppet (Luvdisc Icebeams and it Curses I surf again and it faints)
Girafarig (I switch to Nosepass and explode)

Trainer #4:
Raichu ( I switch to nosepass and he t-bolts me I EQ him and he Light Screens and I EQ him again and he faints)
Sharpedo (he bites me and I Explode to faint both if us)
Swalot (My shedinja is in lead so I confuse ray it and it stockpiles I SB and it uses poison gas but Lum heals I SB twice and faint it

Trainer #5:
Swalot again (Luvdisc uses attract then safeguard gets hit with sludge 3 surfs to faint it)
Zig (Luvdisc Surfs for a OHKO)
Kecleon (Luvdisc uses safeguard I switch to Nosepass and explode)

Trainer #6:
Grumpig (Luvdisc safeguards I switch to Shedinja and SB but he Withdraws for
Lunatone who gets almost OHKOed by my SB LOL and I hit him a second time and bye bye. Grunpig comes out and I hit with SB again for a OHKO
Walrein (shedinja use confuse ray he toxics me but lum healsI switch to Luvdisc he uses hail and I safeguard he uses encore I switch to Nosepass and he trie using hail again I hit with Rock slide he tries toxic I RS again he encores and RS hits to faint him

Trainer #7:
Shiftry (luvdisc icebeams a critical hit for a OHKO (I'm really startin to like Luvdisc!!)
Kadabra (Luvdisc attracts and safeguards and uses snatch I Surf twice and faint it)
Seaking (I safeguard he horn attacks I Icebeam he Rain Dances I surf he surfs I surf he misses with horn drillI surf again he horn attacks I surf he hits with horn drillI switch to nosepass he misses with horn drill I explode to win)

I get a calcium as prize.

I thought I was gonna lose right away, so I figured I'd keep track of stuff for a short while so I could post it for the others who are gonna try this same team too. Maybe it would be helpful.

But then the team kept winning instead and so I just kept the record going. It was kind of a pain to do, but WTH.

And you're right. The computer does stupid things all the time. Still, it was fun to do it after all. Good luck on your try!

Maybe someone will beat this record. That would be really cool.

To use with the move 'snatch'.

Actually, this can be really annoying. What happens is they switch items. You get the stupid macho brace and they get something good like lum or chesto or whatever you got. And it's not just gruimpig. I've had others like Zam and Ludicolo come out and do this and steal my lefties. The only good thing is that the computer will usually use the same move again and end up switching the items back but you have to be patient and wait for them to snatch again.
