Shenlong tells Son Gokou that too many wishes have been misused in the past, thus no more wishes will be granted. Son Gokou manages to convince Shenlong to grant a final wish (restore the lives of those that were killed by the evil Shenlongs, plus restore Kuriren's life. Kuriren was murdered by #17 during the ever-so-short-and-pathetic Super 17 saga). The wish is granted and Shenlong tells Son Gokou to hop on his back...

Pretty much, Son Gokou traded his life so Shenlong could restore a final wish. Hope that answered the question

Son Gokou told everybody that he'd be gone for a short time. Vegeta wanted a chance to fight Son Gokou again, but then he suddenly understood what was happening ( Son Gokou was never coming back). Son Gokou told Vegeta not to tell the others. Despite that, Vegeta told Pan what truly happened to Son Gokou

Goku wishes for the dragonballs not to be use in a 100 years then absorbs the 4 star dragonball and leaves with shenron and vegeta understand why he left and said something about being friends i think

I actually thought it was a very cool ending. One of the few things that was well done in GT. What happened to Goku is debatable. I believe after he absorbed the dragonballs, he turned into a god and became the most powerful being in anime history. His powerlevel was probably off the charts.

It ended like a little preschooler story drawn on flip book paper. Imagine a little kid with a lisp saying this:

And goku hopped(hoped) on the magikal(magical) dragons bak(back) and went away to heven(heaven) and he lived haply(happiely) ever aftar(after). The End.

I would laugh my azz off. And then they go to this sequence where vegeta tells pan this:

vegeta: ur grandpa died by my hands and so did gohan, videl, chi-chi, and hurcel!!

pan: no!

vegeta: and I ATE MR. BUU!!!

pan: NOO!!

Vegeta: EVERYONE AROUND U IS DYING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

pan: AHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!

Vegeta: AHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
