It was good, I was just surprised that they would let them go, but I guess they wanted everyone to start over. But couldnt they have gotten rid of Wobbufet though.

If they wanted everyone to start over than they should Brock leave some Pokemon at home too. Doesn't he still have most of his Pokemon?

During a specific special, Brock left his Geodude, Onix and Crobat with his brother Jiroo to run the gym with. He only went to Hoenn with Forretress, making him similar to Ash in a way.

I liked Arbok and Weezing. Seviper is cool but not as cool as Arbok and i am eager to see what new pokemon James will get besides Cacnea.

Brock should have kept his Onix not Forretress cause Onix was his first pokemon but since Jiroo was running a Rock gym he should have Rock pokemon.

They've removed a lot of older characters/Pokémon from the show for Hoenn. It's okay to an extent, but now the only original pokémon left out of both Team Rocket and Ash & co. are Meowth and Pikachu... they can't go any farther or they're going to completely kill the show.

Giovani still has his Persian, but I doubt that would make much of a difference if he got some new pokemon.... but I guess Meowth would be totally shot down if that happened.

If they took out Meowth, Team Rocket would have nothing going for them... it's nice to see their older Pokémon develop over time. With Arbok, Weezing, and Meowth, Team Rocket isn't Team Rocket.

Guess it was good for the Bok' n Wheezing. I think it was time to let go. They've been there forever and J and J needed some better pokemon.

Yeah, better pokemon, wouldnt it be cool is ash met mewtwo and mewtwo went with ash? Or a MewTHREE.

Well... the Mewtwo thing is kind of wierd. It would be cool if Ash saw it but didn't catch it. It would probably teleport away anyway. (Seriously, if they can't catch Entei, they definately can't catch or make Mewtwo "come along" with them. If they did, the series would probably be worse as it would most likely focus on the story of Mewtwo and not of Ash.)Besides, the world isn't supposed to know about the existence of the most powerful Pokemon in the world.

But what I don't understand is at the end of the main theme of season two, why did they put clips of Mew and Mewtwo in at the very end? I don't remember Ash ever seeing them....

I have a feeling that they'll be back, I think people were just tired of them blasting off all the time with TR. Especially now that Seviper is having such a hard time winning any contests for Jesse...

It wouldn't be right if Ash caught a legendary pokémon. In the game it's fine, as they have less personality. But in the show/movies, they all have a larger role whenever they're shown. They don't seem to be the catch-and-train pokémon that the others are...

Right because in the show virtually any pokemon can win except against a legendary pokemon.
