I'd like to start a thread about the game that I have the most desire to purchase on the DS currently. I know the demo has a short singleplayer and only 3 levels to test in the multiplayer but it also uses the technology that is native to the DS. I've only had one chance to try the multiplayer and it was great.

I had some doubts from the E3 demo's controls. The touch to shoot scheme seemed sluggish and awkward when compared to other modes of control that have been used on consoles and handhelds to play first person shooters.

Stylus Mode is my prefered control scheme. It's the closest thing I've found on a non-PC to just plugging in a mouse. Sadly my hands are too small to use the thumbstrap on my DS. I just use the stylus and it works. I push my wrist against the lower right side to take some of the weight off my left hand while playing.

I'd like to know what impressions the demo has had on other about the chance that this game to become the "killer app" for the DS. The graphics are impressive if you don't walk up to a wall and stare at the textures.

I like the dual analog aspect of it. This game will single handedly IMO be the best game to appear on the DS unless they make another DS game or a 3D Zelda game.

I have yet to experience Mutilplayer with it, but I enjoyed single player very much while it lasted. I think the controls are really quite good, but they do take a bit of getting used to. I prefer the Thumbstrap control. Its just the most responsive for me.

Its definitely the most promising DS title, that and Band Brothers, heh.

I played a two player Multiplayer. It sucked cause I camped on the health power up.The graphics are great, though I hate the stylus mode,I like the right handed setup (the one where you walk and strafe with the d-pad and look with the A,B,X,Y buttons).

That's for another thread though.

Most console FPS players would probably go Dual Mode since they're used to it.
