I used to collect and play with the Pokémon cards. I don't do anything with them anymore and no one in my area plays the game so I'm planning to sell them. Could you please give me an indication of the total worth of these cards. Here's a list :

-Foil cards are marked as 'FOIL'
-Japanese cards are in boostermint condition, English cards most are near mint/excellent.

Ummmmmmm...I would estimate they are worth about 100- dollars. Not anymore than 100, at best.

The pojo pricelist gets them alltogether at about 300 dollars..Guess thats a bit outdated =]

I think the Lugia,Dark raichu and Pichu are worth the most..Any indication on those? ( or a link to a pricelist or whatever )

Best thing to do is check out eBay to see what you could get.
Otherwise, try your luck on the trading forum.
You are correct in picking those three as the best, although personally I'd like the Neo 2 Butterfree (never printed as holo in English). PM me if you want to sell that one for a dollar.

i know it sounds like a smart<pojo ownz><pojo ownz><pojo ownz><pojo ownz><pojo ownz> answer, but it's true. I had a giant collection back when WOTC made the cards, like 3 Charizards, full set of Neo, 4 Lily Pad Mews (japanese 2 glossy, 2 non). Traded them all in for one magic card worth around 200 dollars. moral of the story, if you're planning on selling them, take them to ebay. If you take them to a card shop, you get about 1/3 of what the cards are worth, maybe 1/2 if you're lucky

Which is a fair profit margin for a business, really. They can't pay out what they're going to sell them for. They have rent, payroll, and a host of other expenses to pay for.

Very well said PokePop...And besides, who would pay full price for a card thats a couple of years old and not in BOOSTER mint condition?
