Beating Dark Irregulars?

So Dark Irregulars has literally been giving me a hard time with their Stil Vampir, Demon Marquis and all that stuff. Giving them 5 damage would mean either I drop my entire hand (or most) or I lose that fight. Or if I won't give them that 5th damage, they just won't play any rear units at all to force the 5th damage, otherwise, they'll use Demon Marquis' effect to wipe out your entire field if they have grown impatient or something. At this point, all I can think about is to sack that critical when they are at 4 damage, but they'll most likely guard it and that's unreliable. What are your strategies on taking on this deck?

Perfect guards
Play 2 columns for crits

Remember that your hand shud be big and at minimal loss if only their vg is attacking

I should also add that even if it's unreliable, you have to remember that you technically are at the same if not higher odds (if they are not playing rearguards)
