Well, Friday night I was looking over my main and side. I was pretty confident with the Extra. I was talking to my team mate about some things, seeing as the build him and I were using were pretty similar. We were both playing Inzektors. Anyways, I stuck with the main Deck. I figured it would be really consistent. I did make one small change to the side, but this was it. I was trying to predict the Meta at the Event, seeing as I knew it was probably going to be huge because of the prizes and stuff. $20 is pretty damn good for a 32" TV? Anyways, we got there Saturday and there was some good competition for sure.
Round 1: Bye.
I was like "well, this sucks." The "Bye" is the lowest of the wins, and really screws up Tie-Breakers. Not to mention I would rather play ... but oh well..
1-0
Round 2: Myself (HopCaliber Inzektors) VS Jake (YCS Long Beach Top 8 Inzektor Netdeck)
Game 1: He really didn't pull off much at all. I was actually convinced that he wasn't running Hornets.. I went 1st. Summoned the Centi, equipped Hopper. Hopper eff. Added Sword. Activated, and passed. He eventually had to go negative to get rid of all my Swords I kept getting just to give me more and more plusses. I think I was at 8000 when I won...
Game 2: He actually pulled it out. Big beaters and hands were terrible.
Game 3: He had the Hornet, however I had the Crow. Forcing him to Equip a Dragonfly to a Centipede. In the end, Doomcaliber Knight did really well. He was Top Decking and eventually drew a Centipede with Hopper in Grave. He summoned the Centi, used eff, Doomcal negated. Next turn, Dragonfly + Hornet = Game.
2-0
Round 3: Myself (HopCaliber Inzektors) VS Raptor (Malefic Skill Drain)
Game 1: I started off. Summoned Thunder King, set Warning, pass. He activated Gear Town.. Specialed the Cyber End and I negated w/ Thunder King. He summoned Barbaros, and I didn't think I'd have a problem so just let the 1900 go through. He set 2 and passed. I used Heavy, because I had answers to the Gadj. He bribed, I drew into an MST. I was thinking I doubt that is a Skill Drain, but if it is, I have outs. I summoned Centi, equipped Sword, and attacked the Barbaros. It was good. I set MST and passed. He destroyed the Gear Town, set a Necrovalley. Specialed Gadj. Activated Necrovalley.. so no sword plus for me. He then passed. EP, I mst. Next turn, summon Dragonfly, equip Hornet from hand and proceed to win.
Game 2: Not much to say other than, Royal Decree absolutely destroyed Malefic Skill Drain ...
3-0
Round 4: Myself (HopCaliber Inzektors) VS Kevin, my team mate (Inzektors)
Pre-Game Thoughts: I was thinking .. him and I were working on the Deck together the night before. He knew my EXACT Main Deck, Side Deck, and Extra Deck because he was part of the time. We were both undefeated with the Deck. I had a slight disadvantage because I didn't know his Main, Side, and Extra.
Game 1: I actually did open Hopper and Centipede. So I felt pretty good. He set a backrow and passed. I summoned the Centi, activated eff. It was god. I equipped the Hopper. Hopper eff, added the Sword. See, I love this version of Inzektors because of the infinite plusses. Sword is NEVER a negative. It's absolutely crazy. .. Anyways, he really couldn't do much. I won.
Game 2: He had EVERYTHING. He eventually attacked direct for 3000 with Acid Golem.. When I was holding Gorz in hand *facepalm* oh well..
After Game 2 Thoughts: I have been going into Game 3.. and I usually do well. He was asking me if I sided in the Decree's. He's like, "I don't think you did, I seen them in your side." I actually did Side in the Decree's, because I had a feeling he wouldn't. He was complaining about how whenever he played me he opened bad. I was like well, I don't know. He usually does win against me though, so apparently the hands weren't too bad lol.
Game 3: He sets 3 backrow and passes. I use Heavy Storm. Because I know he doesn't main Solemn Judgment. I summon Dragonfly. Use eff. He says it's good, I equip the Hornet. Then, I equip the Giga-Mantis. He just has a disappointed look .. I use Hornet eff, pop off Giga-Mantis. Special 1 Centipede 1 Hornet from Deck. Special Hornet from Grave with Mantis. Get mad pluses with Centipede. Long story short, he has Gorz. I use the remaining eff to pop off the Gorz. Xyz the 2 Hopper into Utopia. Set Warning, and pass. He summoned Fly, I warning. He scoops.
4-0
Round 5: Myself (HopCaliber Inzektors) VS Brandon (Chaos Dragons w/ Tour Guide)
Pre-Game Thoughts: I know Brandon. I've played him before. Last time I played his Chaos Dragons, I lost to him in Top 8 because of a simple misplay. Also keep in mind, his build is pretty much exactly the same as the winning of YCS Toulouse. However, Brandon has been running this Deck for weeks... It's funny how the dude who won Toulouse is running like the exact build as him.. I figure it will be a hard match-up, but .. If I win or lose right now, I'm still in Top 8. Seeing as I'm the only undefeated right now.
Game 1: My hand is nothing I can use. Literally. I do have a Gorz though, so I just pass with his face-up defense Zenmaines. He goes off with BLS, Pulsar, REDMD, and I lose.. OTK. *facepalm*
Game 2: I win pretty fast. He didn't have much he could do.
Game 3: He OTK's yet again.
4-1
Quarter-Finals: Myself (HopCaliber Inzektors) VS Josh, my team mate (Dino Rabbit)
Pre-Game Thoughts: I'm like wow.. This is horrible. My team mate and I have tested quite a bit together, but it seems like he usually comes out on Top. However, last time I tested with him, I was running a few things different. I had the side prepared for Dino Rabbit and a few main deck techs.
Game 1: He goes first, sets a monster and passes. I summon Centi, eff. Equip Hopper. Hopper eff. Centi eff, add the Sword. I equip Sword AND Giga-Mantis. Seeing as I know Dino Rabbit would have a hard time getting over such a big monster unless they opened one of the one-for-one destruction outs. I attack direct for 3200. Set Warning. Pass. He goes, uses Smashing. I get back the Giga-Mantis, with Sword eff. He passes. I draw Hornet with Fly in hand.. so I win from that.
Game 2: He trys to beat me down with Dinos, but in the end Torrential Tribute, Solemn Warning, and big beefy Centipede is the downfall.
Semi-Finals: Myself (HopCaliber Inzektors) vs Brandon (Chaos Dragons w/ Tour Guide)
Pre-Game Thoughts: I'm thinking "Great... I got this far, now I'm going to lose to Chaos Dragons. Oh well..." I did keep my head up though and stay focused.
Game 1: This was a really good game. I don't remember too much from it honestly, I just know that it literally went back and forth. I did win though.
Game 2: When he has 2 Pulsar and a REDMD on field, with 2 REDMD in Grave, no possible way to come back..
Game 3: He has a Pulsar, BLS, and some other stuff on field. He has a REDMD in Grave, because he sent it to Grave to Special Summon the Pulsar. I do the Dragonfly + Sword combo.. However, after I use Monster Reborn on his Darkness Metal. I attack, and he summons Gorz. My ending field is Centipede at 1900, Giga-Brilliant at 2100, Darkness Metal at 3100, Utopia at 2500. He actually does make a substantial come back.. and gets rid of my field. I get pluses from it because of him using Heavy Storm when I had stuff equipped. He knows I have Dragonfly with Hornet in Grave set-up for next turn. He uses his whole hand after clearing my field. I'm thinking, "I got this." He attacks direct, and Gorz hits the field. Next turn, I win.
Finals: Myself (HopCaliber Inzektors) vs Brent (Agents)
Pre-Game Thoughts: I was thinking, Brent has been playing Agents since they came out. Pretty much, he's been playing Fairy's since Kristya was released .... he went into Top 8 going 4-1. Destroying Inzektors and Dino Rabbit all day. He destroyed Inzektors in Top 8.. and It was the HopCaliber Build. However, the guy was running TGU in the Deck.. which I personally think is horrible in the HopCaliber version. In Top 4, he played against Dino Rabbit.. and did the same thing. So I'm like damn. This will be a good match-up.
Note: Seeing as a friend of mine recorded the games, I uploading them to my YouTube. You can see them here.

So, not much to say after you've seen the finals! Overall, it was a good day for me. It was some pretty good practice for YCS Philadelphia. I would show the Decklist ... however I personally do not want to let the Deck out. My team and I have been working on it constantly to find the right build. I think we finally have.
