Locals stocking soon. And official UK release.

Well an announcement by my locals says that they will be stocking very soon.

Their supplier says they are getting the cards directly from the manufacturer and will be amongst the first to be officially supplying the product in the UK (most suppliers are importing from Singapore).

They won't tell me who the supplier is.

The Manager at one of the local stores in my area also gave such an announcment. He also confirmed that the game has been picked up by Esdevium.

Does this mean that soon CFV will be sold in most chain stores in uk soon?

I imagine at the very least, there will be more hobby shops and such stocking the game. I don't think we'll see the big chain stores stock it for a while yet, as the game is still fairly unknown without the anime airing on TV to back it. I think the anime fans who know about it are going to be more likely to get product from their local hobby shops anyway.

Indeed. Esdevium handles the majority of hobby shops in UK, ROI and If I'm not mistaken, the general Europe region. This news bodes very well for the EURO game.

The Singapore imports aren't an official release. They where just re-distributed.

Pretty much what this means:
The Singapore imports aren't an official release. They where just re-distributed.
Considering the English language version is called the international version pretty much means it's an official release.

Why don't people take things exactly as they are written?

The official release is a result of the manufacturer sending directly to a local supplier. Currently suppliers in the UK only have stock that they have imported from another supplier in Singapore (re-distribution). Within the next few weeks suppliers in the UK will be getting their stock directly from the manufacturer as well as receiving licencing to officially distribute the product.

You mean why DO people take things exactly? Cause if you wrote "Our Singapore imports ..." would have cleared the confusion. Plus calling them the "official release" means something different then "official distribution".

Basically Esdevium buys MASSIVE amounts (which helps save on shipping and such) then distributes it among hobby shops in UK, ROI and wherever else. Basically, distribution is now Mass-Market than individual retailers doing it themselves.

The game is already being distributed in the US by HeartoftheCards.com. They're the guys that stores need to get in touch with to get product.
