I was recently fortunate enough to get Pokerus on my party. I immediately put one of my infected pokemon in the pc box to preserve the virus, but I do have one question. Will I be able to remove the boxed pokemon at any time to re-infect my party when their viruses wear off? I would like to know this as Pokerus is very beneficial to getting stroner pokemon...

A pokemon only can get PokeRus once. You cannot 're-infect'.
After the PokeRus wears off (the timer runs down to zero) a little black dot will appear next to its Level on the Summary screen. This indicates it had pokerus and will never get it again.
You can keep an infected pokemon in your box and pull it out only long enough to infect the ones you are training, then immedeately put it back in the box to stop its timer from running. In this way, you'll be able to infect many of your pokemon over and over using the same pokemon. It's a good idea to infrect several and keep them all in boxes, just so you have them.
An infected pokemon can also be valuable to trade to your friends too. Remember it doubles the Effort points you get for each battle. And if you give an infected Pokemon the macho brace to hold you'll get 4x effort points per battle.
Got PokeRus?

Unfortunatly you cannot re-infect pokemon that have already been infected. To tell if they have been infected at one time look next to their pokeball on the status screen for a small black square. The poke'rus gives them an experince boost until it wears off which is a a few days (Maybe 2).
Edit: And Shiney Altaria beats me again....

You can retrieve the pokemon from your PC to infect members of your party that had NOT yet acquired Pokerus. Also Pokerus can be taken from your pokemon when it evolves. Pokerus with Macho Brace=4x EV's.

If the pokemon evolves will the Virus still last a 3 day period or add 3 more after the evolution?
