Player A has a set Gozen Match and a face up monster.
Player B has a Hanzo and a set Super Transformation.
B activates Ninjitsu Art of Super-Transformation, targeting the 2 monsters. A chains Gozen Match. Is player B forced to get a Dark monster, or is it open since NAST's initial activation was legal and the monster is sent to grave before a new monster is summoned.
Part 2:
Assume above scenario, but Gozen Match is already active. Can B activate NAST, reveal a Dark elligible monster in deck to prove legal activation, then get something besides Dark? (Lonefire vs Gozen Match as precedent)

part1:
the NAST activation is legal. as hanzo and other monster sent to the grave before the new monster summoned, player B can summon any attribute monster (eligible for NAST).
part2:
player B can activate NAST if he has eligible monster in the deck (for NAST&gozen). he then can summon any attribute monster when resolving NAST.
yes, it works just like GB's, lonefire, etc.

I wonder if you need to show your opponent that you do have a dark monster for verification or not. =/

your opponent should ask you to show proof for legal activation, yes.

so I assume Rivalry of Warlords would work the same way? If I have rivalry already face up they simply cannot activate NAST?
But chaining rivalry to NAST does not stop the summon at all.

It always depends on the Type of the monsters involved.

correct. unless the player already controls a white dragon ninja and has another dragon in deck.

In this case there really are not any variables.
All the ninjas are warriors(outside of the karakuri dude whos a machine) all the targets for both trasformation arts are neither warrior nor machine.

The main "Ninja" monster people try to Summon with that card is not in fact a Warrior or a Machine.

And by proof, do I show my entire deck (like normal verification) or just the potential monster?

The potential monster should suffice.
