Shiney Wailmer....

Okay has anything like this happened to you? I was just fooling around in my game trying to catch a Wiscash, however, my gut has been telling me for the past few days that I will encounter a shiney pokemon...Low and behold I found one. I looked down at the Wailmer and I am like look it's purple oh ur so cute! LOL I would have wanted a cooler looking shiney but I guess this will keep me going. As soon as I got it, I evolved it into a Wailord LOL a big purple wailord...it's a funny site.

Also have u ever noticed that when training a shiney pokemon if it loses HP it will lose already gained HP when leveling up? I noticed this today!

Also, does a shiney and non-shiney have a shiney baby? Or are the chances the same as 2 non-shiney's?

When you breed a shiny, there are absolutely no improved chances of getting a shiny baby.

what constitutes a shiny pokemon? is it when all of it's IV's are 0?

does anyone know?

i think the only shiny thing i ever found (excluding gyarados) was a stupid shiny noctowl.

A shiny Pokemon is just a different colored Pokemon, its stats don't ever vary (as in, vary from regular stats, there are no changes in the Pokemon except for color).

Something is different with their IV's I can't remember though! This is the first shiney pokemon I ever caught! I was excited. Just keep searching for urs!

No, I guarantee there is nothing different about their IVs. They're completely random, just like every other Pokemon. I'd be willing to trade my shiny Ariados for a purple Wailord... x_x :o

I was searching for Suicune, and I had a gut feeling that I would find something good next... and found a Raticate... followed by a shiny Meowth!

Yah....I almost passed out when I found out it was a shiney. I have been playing pokemon for seven years and this was the first shiney I ever seen and caught! Well besides the shiney gyrados

I think we can safely say by now that Red Gyrados doesn't count. (Technically, it's a shiny, but we shouldn't have to keep mentioning it, it's not exactly hard to get.)
