After numerous threads on these games, i think we should just make a separate thread for them.

Almost all known info is available there
One thing that might not be known is that the Mew glitch will not work. The reason is that you can't press start while the player is moving, so the opponent will see you and battle you
Now i have a question about FR and LG too. Will you be able to trade R/S pokes like Flygon or Torkoal into FR and LG?

i think you can, i just went on serebii.net and the pokemon on fire red is much better, so i might get Fire Red :(

When u battle snorlax...u he to be kinda of careful cuz when he uses rest he hs what appears to be a chesto berry to wake him up
his moves from what i've seen are

Like the Trading rooms will say stuff like "Still under Construction" until ur about halfway through the game or so.

ACtually now i know why
U can't trrade with Ruby/Sapphire until you get the items Known as
Ruby and spahhire plate which you need to power time machine..and they can only be found on Rainbow islands...which means u hve to wait ages to trade

yeah, and im pretty sure that you cant get to Rainbow Islands until after E4, which is a pretty long time to wait for getting R/S pkmn, although if my hunch is right, you should be able to trade from R/S to Colleseun, then to FR/LG/OB

[Maybe this thread should be sticky so it doesn't get lost. I've read on the FR/LG and how to get certain Pokemon so I'll probably buy 2 FR and 2 LG and trade legends back and forth. It says on the game from what I read "The starter you choose will get you this legend Pokemon" so that's how I'll buy 4 games.

Got to wait ages to trade? Looks like I'll have to look for AR info if they can come up with ways to get the RS Pokemon on FR/LG, I wouldn't use it to get the legends on the game for it takes away the challenge. In getting the RBY/GSC Pokemon on RS with AR, got everything in Oldale including my TMs and Nuggets and went on my conquest. What good will it do to wait ages and you got all the badges? Challenge should be from the first badge on up, to get all the Pokemon after the 8th badge, well, where's the challenge? I don't think there's a Sky Pillar with level 50 Pokemon.

I can't wait to see the graphics, I played Red so I can trade the starters over to GSC, and man, the graphics are just AWFUL and there's hardly any color! I saw the graphics of FR/LG, well improved.

[Somebody was wondering where the page went to, and it dropped to page 2 and then they tried to start a new FR/LG topic. I hope the legendaries will be easier to track down, Entei always runs away on Crystal, 4 encounters, I send my highest leveled Pokemon, level 47, and it STILL runs away! Still wish JOhto was put in< I love to battle Claire again. It's a great honor to battle her dragons and go in the cave and get the dragon fang. Be nice to see the sprites of Team Rocket and the trainers, and also of the gym leaders, see how much up to date they are whereas when RBY first came out, no coment on the bad sprites drawn in and NO POKEMON GENDER on RBY! :mad:

before u can get any pokes past the original 151 u have to get the national dex which is obtained after the elite four and your pokedex shows 60-ish pokes have been cuaght(i think). :D

I hope the powers that be start a new board here on pojo for FR/LG/WB soon. That's where the action is gonna be, and it's already out in Japan. There seems to be more and more info coming out about it too. It can be a new board in the pokemon forum. Whadya think? Maybe we should have a poll, IDK.

GSC Pokemon like Chikorita, Cyndaquil, Totodile, got to trade or cough, cough shark, right? They already got the codes out, but it's only if you play the Japan version. :mad: It's just the original RBY 151. GSC shouldn't be ignored, unless they rewrite that one next year.

i hope they don't....there's noo need for a G/S ermake...they should stick to makin a sequel to Ru/Sa..which i think should hve johto/kanto in it

[I'd like to see Johto and Kanto included, I want to take on Claire again and see if she's nice when she loses. I didn't like it when she was unhappy with giving me the badge.
