Just wanted to start a thread to see how everyone's English card orders are coming along - figured they've got a long way to travel, so we can wait it out together :D

I've ordered from Hammergirl and AmiAmi, and haven't heard much from either yet (and AmiAmi is yet to ask me for payment for my preorder - figured they would've asked for payment by monday)

I'm so excited! Though I doubt I'll find many opponents up here in Scotland. It'll be great to actually get the cards in my hands! Have any of you guys heard anything yet???

Ordered a Set 1 box and a Dragonic Overlord trial deck from Hammergirl and have yet to hear a word about it shipping. I only live 8 hours away from Hammergirl and it will still probably take a week for it to ship. =P

The deal is we can sell singles in-store (he doesnt want to deal with another game of singles) and get boxes through him but we cant re-sell the packs/boxes in the area. When I know how much we are able to get them for I might be able to re-sell them cheaper than online stores for you guys. Im not promising anything as of right now though. haha

You should have gotten 3 RRR, 5 RRs and a R in every other pack. If you get an SP then it takes the place on a RRR.

It's the CFV 'English' world tournament. So no.

Yeah, I really like Pale Moon though, and OTT gets the Tsukuyomi forms. And that paladin g3 is in it.

Set 3 is pretty nuts. It brings Oracles to the next level and sets the foundation for both Pale Moon and Dark Irregulars, both of which become great decks in the future. There's also the Galahad family and Tachikaze on the side.

I order one box, one royal paladin deck and i found a custom VG mat on ebay which looks epic! They're all around the 7-21 day travel mark. -/_\-

this i can live with, as i live in the uk and me and some fellow yugioh utube video group members i know are all syched. But i choose short straw to gamble customs costs... So here hope i will be afording more in future;. XD Or be just going after single then on.

I pulled an Alfred, Overlord and CEO. Vox who posted his list got an Alfred, CEO and Kaiser. So it seems pretty even to me.

I'd love to go Thursday but I probably won't have the chance to. If anything it'll be Friday or Saturday after going to Franks to sell some leftover yugioh cards and make money for the vanguardos. What would you consider a 'decent amount'?

Nope, I am older then you, been out of work for 4 years, have other things to do but don't want to, and friends I talk to over ventrilo or visit on the weekends. I quit Yugioh, hate MTG for various reasons, do research on various things including dead CCGs while watching live streams of other internet nerds play games that I have no interest in playing waiting for a good MMO to come out (which is not SWTOR cause it's overrated crap).

In short, I'm a bum.

I'm up in Aberdeenshire too. Hopefully we can get some UK trade threads going, as it seems as most of our other fellow countrymen are rather spread out. Not to mention that I'm going to have to put several competative-ish decks together Myself before I can indoctrinate any other locals.

Cards have yet to turn up at all for me yet, that's about two weeks now. Hopefully I'll see some of them before the Christmas break. :(

Well there is no American version yet so we dont actually know at the moment.

it doesn't necessarily cost more if you factor in the shipping rates of getting it from Singapore as opposed to getting it from the u.s somewhere

There is no such thing as a Singapore or American release. There is a English release and that's it as far as that goes. Releases for CFV is by language not by region.

Yeap, they said they would only have another release for a language if issues were to arise from it, which I can assure you there will be much a flaming about it on here. As of now, there are no plans to have multiple releases for a language. Japanese cards = Japanese format. English cards = English format and so on.

Anyway yeah, This is mainly more of a promotional exhibit purchase rather than anything else. To give people a feel for the game more so than anything else. It's also a decent enough price to start off a binder. I think I will enjoy the next few weeks immensely with this purchase among other things.

We really need a proper UK distributer, think of all the other cards I could've got for that £45 total import tax.

For all you singles guys, I found a cool vendor on eBay, ideafactorytoys. Had great deals on everything ($25 CEO, $15 Chocolat, $6 Mochas and $7 Libras for me) though shipping was $1 for each additional item ($2 for the first). Still, $72 was the cheapest I'd get from anywhere for these cards so I'm happy with it (I got more than that by selling my RP stuff, so it's a net gain). They've got an $8 RRR Blaster Blade, $13 Cocoa, $14 Kaiser, $18 Iseult, a $25 CEO left (as well as some good deals on some lesser RRs), and $28 SP Overlord left. I'll let you guys know how my transaction goes to add to your favorite sellers list if everything goes well.

A card is worth what people are paying for them. If there's only one person selling cards for "what they're worth" then you have to re-analyze the cost/demand curve you're using. Possibly they're just selling below the value curve and everyone else is selling at the true value? I was ready to pay more than what this vendor was selling them for, so in my eyes the other vendors are selling them closer to what the cards are worth than ideafactory. Not to say that I'm complaining, but just using rudimentary economics to sound smart :p

Nice! Kind of want to get an official one, but I almost would rather make a custom mat. Only issue is those circle patterns are HARD to draw @_@ And I'd rather do things hand drawn since its alot cheaper than buying customs from other people...

There's a few mats floating over the place, general price seems to be about $40 per mat but I bartered for mine on ebay and got 2 for $55 (free registered shipping too)

hammergirl and my local started to carry the cards now. Though they are 4 bucks a pack, still not worth it. I wonder if they will start to sell singles. So far I bought most of my cards from ebay. Though was lucky to pull 4 CEOs in 7 boxes Lol... Shame I don't use them yet :(
