Dark Dark Magician deck =)

Dark magician has always been my fav card and always will be, i once played a deck revolved around him tho times have changed...recently i had a look around at some "competitive" dm decks and found some interesting stuff well i cant remember all the names of the threads etc...but here's my attempt at reviving the ultimate wizard in terms of attack and defense.

@ mudkip66 i tried Dark Magic Curtain before but its just not worth paying half my lp for dm esp when i run solemns.

@general mustang i tried gagaga shield, i like safe zones more tho...

@espeonstar why gale? it dosent seem that useful to me...have thought about it tho

@footfoe yeh tbh i win/lose the game sometimes without even summoning him but his my fav card and i made this deck for him...

@tyrantdragun i initially had skilled dm & dmg with Magician's Circle and Sage's Stone, they're nice cards but it just felt slow and dmg was dead in my hand alot of the time...

I take it that you don't want to run the Dark Magician Knight engine. Oh well. It can speed up these kinds of decks immensely.

Anyway, I would definitely think about maining Champion's Vigilance, it can be destructive. A free Solemn Judgment! The offer is too good to pass up, I think.

I honestly can't see how Dark Magician Knight would "speed up this deck immensely". At the very raw terms, you:
Lose your Dark Magician (-1)
Lose your Knight's Title (-1)
Get a Dark Magician Knight (+1)
Destroy a card your opponent controls (+1)
Dark Magician and Dark Magician Knight are equivalent "in terms of attack and defense".
Knight's Title can be dead in hand.
Your opponent can chain to Knight's Title/Dark Magician Knight's effect, potentially making this "pseudo 141" become a 140.

Unless there's any hidden combo I don't know of, I would definitely run those Champion's Vigilance instead, and give those Dark Magician's some love.

It's a completely different deck. It allows for quicker Chaos summoning, deck thinning etc. But this isn't the same thing. Keep it the way it is.

I agree with the comment above, keep the Champion's Vigilance combo going.

ok so i took out 1 warning and 1 bth for 2 champion's vigilance.
