View Full Version : Yellow and Volt Tackle

Before FR/LG were released, the four moves Hydro Cannon, Blast Burn, Frenzy Plant, and Volt Tackle were a mystery. People had hacked the game, found them, and found no way to them to be learned. Now we know about the Move Tutor and the elemental hyper beams, but what about Volt Tackle? Call this a hunch, but I suspect that Spark Yellow (or something like it) is eventually going to be released, with your starter Pikachu learning Volt Tackle from the Move Tutor. A wild guess, I know, but is seems fairly resonable to me. What do you think?

Hmm, if they follow the release line that they did for ALL the other sets then we'll definetely get a third game. By the way, I haven't been catching up on the FR/LG stuff lately. Can you elaborate on the Elemental Hyper Beams?

a grass/fire/water hyperbeam. You can get one of tehse moves taught to one of your pokemon. It has to be your starter and the move must be the same type like charmander blastburn. Please check the Pokemon LF/FR topic all this is explained there.

One of the move tutors in FR/LG will teach your starter the move coresponding to their type. (Charizard=Blast Burn, Blastoise=Hydro Cannon, Venusaur=Frenzy Leaf.) These moves are the exact same as hyper beam (except for their type.) 150 power, 90% accuracy, recharge next turn, 5 PP. BTW, it's only your starter (i.e., you couldn't teach a bred Charmander Blast Burn.)

You know, i was surprized that Nintendo hasn't released a "Yellow Topaz" for the gemstone series.

Thanks for the info. BTW I checked the FR/LF topic a few pages back and it wasn't there...that or I'm blind. Might there be 2 FR/LF Topics?

Theres something about it there and theres one topic. (i know because i posted it). But with anyone that needs info go look at that topic its not on the board for no reason as it is on a different page collecting dust. And right now there is alot of info people are asking about which most of its on that topic.
