out of ALL the pokemon that they took out from the Ru/Sa games, why did they keepy Rhyhorn/Don and then add Aron/Lairon/Aggron? they're so similar.

I don't know, but Rhydon is infinitely superior to Aggron.

Same kind of deal with Pidgey/Pidgeotto being replaced in R/S with Taillow/Swellow.
IDK either.
Duh.

Pikachu is in the game. He is in the Safari Zone. I have a pikachu, Raichu and Pichu now! But I agree with the whole aggron and rhyhorn thing. I never trained a Aggron...looks kind of scary and he has too many weaknesses. I like Rhydon better because he can learn horndrill but I guess not nessarily in Sapph. I am training one now.

I like Aggron because he looks cooler (even though i got a rhydon in FR/LG). Aggron also learns more moves, and has a higher DF then Rhydon.
-Note: Their names rhyme...

Aggron has a really good resistance to weakness ratio but the three weaknesses that he has really kills him. Fighting and Ground are 4x effective but his high defence takes some of the kick out of it, Water is 2x effective but his special defence blows. Plus all three types of attacks are very common.
Rhydon is better because his weaknesses and his attack power is a little better but his defence is still small compared to Aggrons.

Aggron is good to use against other Rock/Steel Pokémons tough because it can learn a variety of moves... it can learn Flamethrower for exemple... sure it's Sp.ATK. blows but the other steel types you use it against have low Sp.DEF so it evens out :p
Aggron's Sp.DEF and Speed do blow... I usually equip mine with the Quick Claw and choose the battles carefully. I just keep it because it's cool I guess *shrugs* It's not filling any necessary role in my team.
